Crystal Palace Park’s South Facing Festival returns once again this month with back-to-back mini festivals with a range of amazing artists. Jungle, Bombay Bicycle Club and London Grammer are amongst the musicians taking to the ‘Bowl’ stage this year. The Bowl is what looks to be a natural amphethatre within the park, which has hosted performances from the likes of Pink Floyd, Elton John and the legendary Bob Marley among many others.

Last year the festival solidifed itself as a London summer staple. Drawing on such rich musical heritage, South Facing has continued to grow and grow. Last year, fans flocked to the Bowl to see artists from Dizzee Rascal to Supergrass, English National Opera to The Streets. And this year is only set to exceed expectations once more.

Edges filled by enticing food trucks, merch stands and good view points, the open air stage is perfect for both the headline artists, but also the other artists on the lineups. Online buzz has been growing around seeing artists such as flourishing young artists Nilufer Yanya, legendary Kelly Lee Owens and bustling collective NiNE8.

Haste will be attending on 5th August for the Bombay Bicycle Club evening and will be reporting on it the next day, so keep your eyes peeled to find out more about the festival. Or if you’re interested in attending yourself, find tickets to all of the shows going on from 29th July-7th August here
